Planning Commission Vacancy

The City of Chehalis has a vacancy on its Planning Commission.

Appointments are made by the mayor, subject to confirmation by the city council, and are generally for four-year terms.  Members serve without compensation.

The primary duties of the commission are to review all plats or plans of subdivisions of land within the city or proposed additions, as well as dedications of streets and alleys, and make recommendations to the city council.  In addition, the commission reviews the city comprehensive plan and prepares amendments for the city council’s approval.
