Current development projects, public notices, and DRC packets

This page serves as public notice about development projects currently being reviewed that require a public notice period, such as SEPA or Conditional Use processes. Small projects, like a single-family home, or commercial renovations are unlikely to need a public notice period during their permit reviews.  Please read the following information to find out more about each project.

SEPA-22-006

STI Holdings LLC proposes a reforestation plan for small area. This includes removal of timber in anticipation of future permits.

Historic Preservation Commission
Michael McCowan is presenting a nomination of R.E. Bennett and Cascade Schools to the Chehalis register of historic properties. The nominations will be heard in a public hearing at the July Historic Preservation Commission meeting.

SEPA-22-002

R&K Adventures are proposing the clearing of approximately 13.8 acres.

2022 Comprehensive Plan Updates

City staff are proposing updates to the Comprehensive Plan.

Hearing Date: May 10, 2022. Time 6PM. A DNS has been issued for this project and is currently being reviewed by the Washington State Department of Commerce. Please see related documents HERE.

SEPA-22-001

Fuller Designs is proposing the development of a new 46-stall RV park. The site is within the Chehalis CG, General Commercial zone. Recreational Vehicle Parks are a permitted use in this zone.

SEPA-22-0003

Applicant proposes the construction of a new Honda dealership with sales and service centers. This property is zoned CG, General Commercial. Motor vehicle showroom/sales facility is a permitted use in this zone. Parcel # 005605082009

Fuller Designs is proposing a multi-family housing project with 4 two-story duplexes, and 4 two-story fourplexes. UGA-SEPA-22-002, UGA-ST-22-001

Panattoni Development Company is proposing the construction an approx. 500,000 sq. ft. warehouse. Distribution Centers are a permitted use in the IL zone.

RZ-22-001

The applicant is requesting that the property located a 201 Hannah Lane, Lewis County
Parcel number 017875055031 be rezoned from Residential UGA to Commercial zoning.

Fuller Designs is proposing the construction of 56 tiny homes with a conservation area. This area is zoned RUGA, manufactured dwellings are permitted in this zone with conditions.
