INVITATION TO BID
Maintenance Equipment 

Sealed bids will be received by City of Chehalis (“City”) until 1 p.m. on Thursday June 29, 2023, at the City Offices located at 350 N. Market Blvd, Chehalis, Washington, 98532, for the following equipment purchase:

  • 2009 (and newer) Toro Pro Core 660 Tractor Mounted PTO Driven Aerifier
  • 2012 (and newer) Dakota 412 Top Dresser

Bids received after such time and date will not be considered. No Bidder may withdraw a Bid after the deadline for the submittal of bids. Bids properly received will be publicly opened and read at the City of Chehalis following the deadline for the submission of bids.

The equipment to be purchased under this Contract includes all the equipment described in the specifications and bid documents.

Bids shall be submitted in accordance with the Contract Documents. Bids shall constitute offers to the City of Chehalis which shall be binding for thirty (30) days from the date of bid opening. The City reserves the right to reject any bid, any portion of any bid and/or to reject all bids. The City further reserves the right, but without obligation, to waive informalities and irregularities.

Bid Specifications and Contract Documents may be obtained at the City of Chehalis website at www.ci.chehalis.wa.us or at the office at the address above. Bids will be evaluated based on capital cost, operational cost, and operation and maintenance requirements for the equipment. The City reserves the right to award the equipment purchase contract (“Purchase Contract”) to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder as it best serves the interest of the City. The Bidder to whom the Purchase Contract is awarded shall execute and return the Contract to the City within ten (10) calendar days from the date the Notice of Award is mailed to the Bidder. In case of failure of the Bidder to execute the Contract, the Bidder shall be in default, the Bid Bond shall be forfeit to the City and the City shall have the right to award the Purchase Contract to the next lowest responsive, responsible Bidder.
