The City of Chehalis Public Works Department is hiring an Office Manager.

The Office Manager is a supervisory position responsible for planning and performing a variety of routine and complex analytical, clerical, administrative and technical work in the Public Works Department Administration. The Office Manager serves as the administrative assistant to the Public Works Director, Street/Stormwater Superintendent, Wastewater Superintendent, and the Water Superintendent.  Primary duties include organizing and coordinating office procedures, operations, and resources to create organizational efficiency and effectiveness through complex projects, and directly supervising the utility billing staff.

This is a Teamsters Local 252 union represented position with a 2023 salary range of $53,220 to $64,668.  Excellent benefits include medical, dental and vision insurance, and participation in the Washington State Department of Retirement Systems.
