We love volunteers that LOVE YOUR PARKS!

City of Chehalis Parks & Recreation Department manages and oversees over 273 acres of parkland spread over eleven different and unique parks. 

These parks offer a variety of experiences from serene walking trails, woodlands, meadows, riverfront, state of the art aquatics and sports facilities, modern and exciting playgrounds, event spaces and more!

There are many opportunities for resident and business groups to assist our full time and seasonal staff to keep our parks beautiful for everyone to enjoy.

Service projects can range from conservation projects and restoration of natural areas, trail maintenance, litter pick-up, facility maintenance & repair, planting and weeding landscape areas, and much more! 

Our professional staff will match the right area of service to your interest and skill ability.
